Our Story
Why do we stop designing for children once they stop being babies?
Why does care seem to end where growing up begins?
These days, parents want to do everything right for their kids.
There are countless baby brands offering the best products until the age of three.
And then, suddenly, we’re expected to move them into what’s meant for adults.
That never felt right.
Zuzu & Zee began with the belief that care for children shouldn’t stop at babyhood.
Kids at this age are growing fast , forming opinions, choices, and habits.
This is also when something deeper begins to take shape.
They start seeing themselves the way the world might see them.
Every small choice , what they wear, how they look, how they care for themselves , begins to build a sense of identity.
Psychologically, this is when self-confidence is formed in layers , quietly, through routine, through repetition, through being trusted with their own care.
And truly, nothing matters more than that.
We wanted to create something that fits naturally into this stage of growing up , gentle, safe, and uncomplicated, yet genuinely effective.
Products that respect how kids feel, look, and want to be seen.
Because care for children shouldn’t mean compromise.
It should simply mean better thought.
And somewhere along the way came another thought.
Kids look up to their parents more than anyone else.
They copy what we do , the way we get ready, the things we use, the little rituals we don’t even notice.
They want to feel part of that world.
So we thought, why not make something that works for both?
Something safe enough for them, effective enough for us.
All these thoughts , curious, honest, and maybe a little idealistic , came together to create Zuzu & Zee.
If that makes sense to you, we’re already on the same page.
